Option 1 (no cost): Not everyone is willing to spend money on jewelry cleaners and that is 100% alright because there is a method for you! You can clean the band of your rings, and chains of your necklaces with soap and water at home. However, do not clean the stones with soap as this will dull the shine of your jewelry.
Option 2 (Range from $2-$20): There are many jewelry cloths out there that can range from as low as $2 USD to $20 USD. This is all about preference but any microfiber jewelry cloth will do the job! This cloth you can use to clean the bands and chains of your jewelry as well as shine your stones, without scratching or damaging your ring or piece of jewelry.
Option 3 (Range from $5-$40): There are jewelry solutions that you can use depending on the type of jewelry you are looking to clean. Some are specific to sterling silver, some could be for gold. The price varies from brand to brand. You can use this solution with your jewelry cloth to clean and shine your jewelry including the stones!
Option 4 ($50 & Up): Some of you may see that there are jewelry cleaning machines out there. For some of you this can be a good choice depending on the amount of jewelry you own or how much you are willing to invest in maintaining your jewelry. However, you can properly clean and maintain your jewelry without having to make such a huge investment, which are all listed in the previous options. For those who would like to go with a jewelry cleaning machine, make sure to do your research on what type of jewelry and stones the machine is best for as some can damage your jewelry.
Extra Tips: Regardless of the option you choose we recommend to store your jewelry in an air tight sealed container over night. This will help protect it from dust particles and keep it secure. Remember you are taking care of something you spent your hard working money on and you want to make sure it lasts as long as possible!
